The preschool mini-series Lili & Lola has been greenlit for a fifth season by ICI TV, SRC Radio-Canada, TFO and Oznoz.

Stemming from the universe of 16 Hudson, the preschool show tells the stories of 16 Hudson resident Lili and her younger sister Lola, celebrating sisterhood, friendship, family and Persian culture. Season four is scheduled to debut in January on SRC Radio-Canada and Oznoz, with ICI TV and TFO to follow with premieres in early spring.

Returning for the fifth season are supervising director Eddie Soriano, producer Paddy Gillen and executive producer Aly Jetha. The series is produced by Big Bad Boo Studios.

“This will be a special new season with some holiday fun planned for our sisters and their extended family,” said creator and director Shabnam Rezaei on season five. “We can’t reveal anything yet, but it might be a bit of scary fun!”
