Welcome to Big Bad Boo Studios! We are an award-winning, creative-led animation studio, originating, developing, producing and distributing compelling kids content. We focus on authentic, fresh, exciting storytelling with inspiring characters that make audience laugh, cry and learn. With studio locations in Vancouver, New York, and Vienna, and staff in Toronto and Los Angeles, we are proud to work with a roster of international broadcasters and local partners alike. They include CBC Kids, TVOKids, SRC Radio Canada, Hulu, TFO, Hop, ORF Austria, RTP Portugal, Al Jazeera Children’s Television, Shaw Multicultural Channel, The Disney Channel, Okto Singapore and many others. Our animation facility in beautiful Yaletown offers a full range of animation production services for clients and original shows alike. We leverage Canadian and provincial government tax credits, enabling us to produce shows at competitive rates, making us an ideal co-production partner in Canada.

App & Game Development
Big Bad Boo Studios develops games and apps for our own properties and those of our clients. We specialize in educational children’s apps and games for websites and platforms such as Android and iOS. Our apps are meant to be fun and help educate children in important core topics such as math, literacy, science, languages, arts, and much more. We work with educational consultants and experts in childhood education across ages 2-14 and develop apps that are playful, visually stunning and entraining for children. We also pride ourselves on testing our apps with children to maximize the entertainment and the educational value. Our apps are fun, family-friendly, educational and 100% kid-tested.
