OUR WORK WITH UNICEF
Over the last two decades, our international development division has supported programs benefiting millions of children across the Middle East, Asia and Latin America. Many of these programs are co-financed or provided at cost by Big Bad Boo as a form of corporate social responsibility (CSR). In 2018, Big Bad Boo, a signatory of the UN Global Compact, was the only commercial media company inducted into the Million Lives Collective for bettering the lives of over 1 million children living on less than $5 per day. Big Bad Boo currently holds five Long-Term Services Agreements with UNICEF for the provision of entertainment-based educational programs, strategic behavioral change communications, digital content and program evaluations.
Because of the work we do in post-conflict environments, we make our content available for high, medium, and non-tech environments through animated episodes (distributed via TV, online and/or USBs), radio theater, storybook readers, comic books, and any other format required.

MULTI-PLATFORM MEDIA

Digital – Websites and digital games for the web and mobile apps

Academic Programs and Curricula – Curriculum programs that use cartoons as a springboard to teach 21st-Century, Life and Citizenship Skills
